Create a flush threshold
A flush threshold with our GlassIIEdge™ flush glazing system.
One of the many appeals to installing a folding sliding door from FSDC global is the ability to have a flush threshold. It is ideal for all manner of applications, from disabled access to a restaurant to preventing the children from tripping over the threshold at home.
But what do you need to do to achieve it?
In order for the bottom track to sit below the floor line you will need to create a channel in the floor of at least 55mm (2 1/4") wide and 41mm (1 3/4") deep.
Ensure to allow for the finished floor level in your calculations. Remember to consider not just the carpet but the underlay beneath it, not just the tile but the adhesive that holds it, etc.
